Allan Sanford, CEO/President
Since January 2013 Mr. Sanford has researched, patented and developed the core technology Magneto Hydro Dynamic (MHD) for water desalination and transportation. From 2010-2013 he was affiliated with Soft Armour LLC in conjunction with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy NY., which developed innovative sports medical devices from Proof of Concept to final product. From 2004-2010 Mr. Sanford was CEO of SBS Resources Inc., a mining company, where he was and presently is, on the Board of Directors and also served as CEO of a Canadian based company, Infinity Mining Corp in 2006. From 1998-2001 Mr. Sanford was Co-Founder of Ventech, Inc. NY, a company that patented the business model of selling prepaid cell phones through vending machines. The company grew from startup to over 60 airport, highway rest stops, shopping centers and train/bus locations throughout the New York/New Jersey Metro area. From 1982-1997, Mr. Sanford worked for Morgan Stanley Financial Services Company as a Department Manager of more than eighty employees. In earlier years he was involved with several companies including five years with MPL Communications Inc. as Executive Vice President of Paul McCartney’s US Company in New York. Mr. Sanford is a graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City. Fazle Hussain, PhD., Chief Technology Officer Dr. Hussain received the 2002 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Fluid Dynamics Award, which established him as the world's most highly decorated scholar within the field of fluid dynamics. He is presently a Professor at Texas Tech University, an Honorary Professor (for Life) at Peking University, Beijing, China, and a CTR Senior Fellow at Stanford University. From 2010 to 2013, Mr. Hussain was the University of Houston’s Hugh R. & Lillie C. Cullen Distinguished University Chair. From 1989 to 2010, he was the Hugh R. & Lillie C. Cullen Distinguished Professor where he was selected to receive the AIAA Fluid Dynamics Award for his contributions to the understanding of turbulence. He had previously claimed all three of the other most widely coveted awards in the field. Mr. Hussain has initiated and collaborated in projects ranging from the reducing aircraft friction draft (potentially resulting in multi-billion dollar savings in fuel costs on an annual basis) to the development of a bladeless helicopter that is powered by a “manufactured tornado,” among others. After earning his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, he worked there as a lecturer until transferring to Stanford University in California as a Fulbright Scholar, where he earned his M.S. and his Ph.D. Dr. Eng. Elias Maalouf, Consultant Dr. Eng. Elias Maalouf is a consultant to MHD Technology Corporation and our exclusive representative to the Mena area & Gulf region. Dr. Maalouf is an electrical engineer and is presently Chief Executive Officer of the Empire Group. Dr. Maalouf has been involved with the energy industries through his association with Advanced Power Energy, a leader in Green Renewable Alternative Energy, focusing on both Solar and Wind Technologies. Dr. Maalouf received his engineering degree from Polytechnic University. Board of Directors Santiago Peralta Since 2012 Mr. Peralta has been with Delta International Oil and Gas, Inc. which is a public company. He has held various managerial positions at Delta and he is presently the Interim CEO, President and a Director. The Company is involved in oil and gas concessions, investments, exploitation, production and exploration activities primarily in Argentina. Mr. Peralta, who is operationally involved on a daily basis with MHD, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University and also holds an MBA from Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management. Rajappan Radhakrishnan Mr. Radhakrishnan has served in various supervisory positions with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (“DEP”) since 1989. Most recently, he has been the Executive Director of the Fossil Engineering and Asbestos Control Program since 2011. Prior thereto, since 1997, he had been the Director of the DEP’s Asbestos Control Program. From 1976 to 1983 he was Senior Development Engineer at the Energy Systems Group (Indian Licensee of Combustion Engineering Inc. USA) BHEL, India. Mr. Radhakrishnan earned an M.S from New York University and a B.S.M.E. from the University of Madras, India. In addition, he holds a New York Professional Engineer License since 1989. Arnie Silver Mr Silver is an experienced entrepreneur, educator, and advisor with over 30 years of experience. He began his career as an educator. In 1966 Mr.Silver started a Burger King Franchise. At one point he owned 7 Burger Kings and a Friday’s Restaurant. In 2007, Mr. Silver completed the process of selling all of his holdings and retired from the restaurant industry. Since that time Mr. Silver has been a private investor and has served on the board of several public companies. Mr. Silver graduated in 1966 from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to earn an MBA from Brooklyn College. Shannon Devereaux Sanford Ms. Sanford is an Adjunct Professor in the Social Sciences. From 2005 through 2015 Ms. Sanford was a producer and host of a radio show interviewing a roster of national and international authors and news-makers, wrote a weekly column for the DC Post on social issues, and authored a book on education. Prior to that she worked with a NYC nonprofit organization, was a political image consultant and worked in television at the Wall Street Journal. She graduated from New York University and The London School of Journalism with degrees in Cultural Studies and Journalism and also holds a Master’s Degree in Social Policy from the State University of New York.
